WATCH: Tiger-dad Yasha meets cubs for first time and it’s BEAUTIFUL

02:23
It was a rare moment for an endangered species when Yasha, a Siberian Tiger, met his beautiful new cubs for the first time at the Tierpark Hagenbeck Zoo in Hamburg, Germany on Thursday. Cubs Anushka, Dasha, Mischka and Vitali were born on June 15, 2017 - the first litter born at the zoo in 15 years. Their mother, Maruschka, was born at the Novosibirsk zoo in Siberia in 2011 and met the cubs' father Yasha at Hagenbeck. Siberian Tigers are regarded as being the most 'threatened' of tiger species but conservation parks such as Tierpark Hagenbeck have protected numbers from poaching in recent years. Subscribe to our channel! rupt.ly/subscribe Tanzanian ball juggler Hadhara Charles Mjeje denied that black magic was behind the outstanding keepie-uppie skills which have turned her into a viral sensation, as she spoke in the Malawian capital of Lilongwe on Tuesday. "Some people think that I use black magic but I don't. There is nothing in this ball. I use my talent which I have developed for six years of practice. It is pure talent, not black magic," said she. Hadhara, 29, revealed that she started juggling to earn money for her two sons. She has since dazzled crowds in several countries across the continent such as South Africa, Gabon, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Malawi, Kenya and Mozambique. "I admire players from different teams such as Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldinho," said Hadhara, adding that she wishes to become a professional player. Hadhara has been in Malawi since January, reports say, where she charges an equivalent of $4 (€3.55) for a two minute performance. "We are not gays," President of Zimbabwe Robert Mugabe told the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Monday. "We reject attempts to prescribe new rights that are contrary to our values, norms, traditions and beliefs," he said. The comment drew gasps and laughter from the delegates. However, Mugabe - who led the militant Zimbabwe Afircan National Union against white minority rule in Rhodesia the 1960s and 1970s - also drew applause from the audience after he reiterated his nation's "unwavering" support towards the Palestinian people as well as his condemnation of "destabilisation" policies from outside powers in the Middle East. Discussing the ongoing tragedy in the Mediterranean, the "tragic situation could have been avoided through the respect of the independence of other countries and non-interference in internal affairs," the 91-year-old Zimbabwean leader added. USA: Hundreds gather to mourn slain rapper Nipsey Hussle in LA

02:40
Subscribe to our channel! rupt.ly/subscribe Hundreds of fans of rap artist Nipsey Hussle gathered to mourn his death on Monday, a day after he was fatally shot outside his clothing shop in Los Angeles. Fans lit candles and laid down flowers and messages to remember the musician in front of his 'The Marathon' clothing shop in LA's Hyde Park neighbourhood. Residents from the local community expressed their sadness about the loss of someone who one woman referred to as a “legend," while another local described the pain of losing him as akin to “losing a family member”. At least 10 people were reportedly injured at the memorial later in the evening, when a stampede broke out in the crowd as people attempted to flee the area, with some reports indicating that this may have been caused by false reports of gunshots. Local police have however stated that no shots were fired and have said that most of the injuries at the scene were due to trampling. Hussle, who was born Ermias Joseph Asghedom, was shot multiple times in the face and chest on March 31 and although the scene was reportedly captured by a security camera, a suspect has yet to be arrested. Two other people were wounded in the shooting, with one being hospitalised in a stable condition and the other only sustaining a superficial injury. Russia: Help reaches oldest Russian hermit Lykova as she runs out of supplies

03:25
Agafia Lykova, the 74-year-old sole hermit and the last survivor in her Old Believers family called for help as she has run out of food and hay, as seen in footage released from the Sayan Mountains on Tuesday. Lykova used satellite phone to reach local journalist Andrei Grishakov to tell him she has 'run out of everything.' Kemerovo region governor Sergei Tsivilev as well as local EMERCOM department officials reached Lykova by helicopter and brought her medicine, hay and food. Lykova lives totally alone in the National Park of the Western Sayan Mountains, deep in Siberian Taiga. The 74-year-old complains she cannot raise her hands, yet she doesn't seek medical help. In 1978, a group of geologists found Lykova's family living in isolation deep in the Russian Taiga. Since then, the Lykovs have been visited by journalists, activists, as well as National Park inspectors. Born in 1944, for the first 35 years of her life, Lykova did not have contact with anyone outside of her family. Agafia became a national phenomenon as details of her life became available through books and documentaries dedicated to the last member of the Lykov family. Ukraine: IntMin Avakov throws water over Saakashvili after heated exchange

02:52
A meeting of Ukraine's National Council of Reforms was cancelled in Kiev, Wednesday, after a heated argument broke out between Odessa's Governor Mikheil Saakashvili and Interior Minister Arsen Avakov. The argument broke out after Avakov questioned Saakashvili over accusations he had made claiming that Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers was guilty of corruption. The heated exchange ended with Avakov throwing his glass of water over Saakashvili. Both politicians were arguing over Saakashvili's statement at the Odessa anti-corruption forum, where he accused the Cabinet of Ministers of "heading corruption." Avakov argued that the Odessa governor had failed to present any evidence of his claims and accused Saakashvili of corruption and of impeding the privatisation of the Odessa port factory. 02:50
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has vowed never to say the name of the alleged author of the Friday shooting, which killed 50 people in Christchurch mosque, speaking in Wellington on Tuesday. "He sought many things in his act of terror, but one was notoriety, and that is why you will never hear me mention his name," said Ardern during a speech commemorating the victims at the New Zealand parliament. Speaking a few words of Arabic, she said, "We can and we will surround you with aroha (compassion), manaakitanga (process of showing respect, generosity and care for others), and all that makes us, us. Our hearts are heavy but our spirit is strong." A total of 50 people were killed in the shootings and a further 50 were wounded in what was New Zealand's worst attack. The main suspect, a 28-year-old Australian, appeared in court on Saturday charged with murder. 03:23
Subscribe to our channel! rupt.ly/subscribe French police used water cannons and tear gas to disperse anti-fuel tax protesters who were rallying against rising fuel prices and a planned fuel tax in Paris on Saturday. A vehicle and a tent of a nearby café were set on fire, while people barricaded behind pieces of furniture as they tried to hide from water cannons and march further. Some were seen shaking a traffic light in a bid to break it, while others were turning what seemed to be a vehicle over to use as a barricade against police. The "yellow vest" movement has grown in the past weeks, as the government plans a tax increase on fuel, including gasoline and diesel, beginning on January 1, 2019 to promote environmentally friendly practices. France: 'Yellow Vests' clash with police in protest against anti-rioting law

02:15
The Yellow Vests descended into the streets of Paris on Saturday for the 22nd consecutive weekend, the first time after the new anti-rioting legislation came into effect on Thursday. Different groups of protesters rallied in Place de la Nation and in the 17th arrondissement and later converged in Place de la Republique, where clashes erupted with security forces. Riot police dispersed protesters with pepper spray, pushing some of the demonstrators away. Protesters in turn responded with flares. The new legislation signed by French President Emmanuel Macron gives security forces greater powers as well as bans protesters from covering their faces. The Yellow Vests protests started in November 2018 against a proposed fuel tax hike but have since evolved into a movement opposing the Macron administration as a whole. This is the fourth week of "Yellow vests" protests, which turned into the worst urban rioting in decades in the French capital. M/S Gunther Holtorf posing on top of Otto SOT, Gunther Holtorf, 76-year-old traveller (English): "Another situation happened when I was sleeping in an open hammock next to the Zambezi River in northern Zimbabwe. Suddenly I woke up and I got the feeling - when you live in the wild you get that feeling - suddenly I got the feeling I wasn't alone. And I got up a little bit over the side of the hammock, and looked face-to-face into the eyes of a spotted hyena at about two feet distance. The hyena was shocked. It was very shocked, I made something like 'whoa!' and the hyena dashed away. And I was relaxed that I survived that situation." M/S Gunther Holtorf showing Otto's trunk [CUTAWAY] SOT, Gunther Holtorf, 76-year-old traveller (English): "I would be very happy to live more than 24 hours a day, I've many, many items to take care of or just repeat, and I'm looking forward to that." M/S Gunther Holtorf posing next to Otto [CUTAWAY] SCRIPT Seventy-six-year-old traveller Gunther Holtorf returned to Stuttgart Saturday, after a 26-year journey in a 1988 Mercedes G-Wagen named "Otto" that saw him visit 177 countries and rack up 884,000 kilometres (549,292 miles). Holtorf, originally from Gottingen, decided to hit the road with his wife Christine after quitting his job at Lufthansa. Holtorf became ill with malaria five times on his journey, and in northern Zimbabwe came face-to-face with a spotted hyena while sleeping in a hammock. Christine also died in June 2010, but asked Holtof to finish his journey before passing away. He kept a picture of her on one of Otto's mirrors as remembrance. Holtorf mostly slept in Otto for the duration of his journey, purchasing food at local markets and turning down numerous sponsorship offers.
