➥ I have been transitioning towards a vegan lifestyle since the end of 2015, and did not become strict until somewhere at the start of 2016, so I'm still learning and making mistakes. Not every aspect of my lifestyle is vegan yet. Please be understanding of this ♡
➥ My diet varies every day, it's whatever I feel like and works on the day. Comments that make unfair assumptions about my diet or any unnecessarily negative, rude or hostile comments will not be tolerated.
➥ This video shows how I ate on one day, not every day, so be sure not to judge a long-term diet based on one day
➥ OIL / SALT: Occasionally I do consume oil and use it while cooking, but I try to avoid excessive amounts as I am well aware it’s definitely not a health food. I do season some foods with salt as this is my personal preference.
➥ The reason I wear gloves while chopping onions is because the smell of things like onion and garlic absorb into nail polish.
➥ Are you RT4? Are you HCLF?
If you notice that I eat a lot of sugar and carbs, that is because while I don’t strictly eat High Carb Low Fat, generally I aim towards getting the majority of my calories from carbohydrates. I’m obviously not RT4 either!
➥ Where do you get your B12?
I supplement it with a shot once every 3 months.
➥ What does your username mean?
MY USERNAME IS 100% MEANINGLESS. I’ve had it for 8+ years. Don’t take it literally, and it does not reference anything.
➥ How many calories is this?
I prefer not to count calories! I go by how my body and mind feels. This is plenty of food and enough calories for me so don't be fooled by how things look on camera! However, I understand that those aiming for weight loss OR those recovering from eating disorders may find calorie counts important, so I will try to add them here if I find time to calculate them.

➥ I sometimes snack on fruit like bananas, apples and oranges throughout the day, but I didn’t show it in the video as honestly it’s pretty boring LOL but on this day I did have a banana or two sometime after dinner.
➥ I drink water throughout the day, but as I assume this is a given (and it's boring to watch lol) I didn't include it in the video
➥ The vegan chilli with beans is my Mum’s recipe and it is SO GOOD! (Thanks Mum!) The recipe is below (keep in mind it’s pretty relaxed and doesn’t need to be super accurate to still be delicious):
- Beans: 1 can red kidney, 2 cans cannelini
- 1 can diced tomatoes (or similar qty freshly diced)
- 1 cup (approx.) classic tomato pasta sauce / cooking sauce
- 1 brown onion
- 2 tsp (or as much as you like) tex mex spice (or any mexican spice mix you have)
- hot sauce to taste (my favourite is Cholula original)
- 1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
- a dash of BBQ sauce
- 1/2 ~ 1tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 ~ 3/4 cup water (start with less, add more if needed)
Prepare and cook as directed in the video over low~medium heat, then turn up heat a little when you need to simmer for 30 minutes. If it doesn’t thicken up, add some arrowroot flour or plain flower mixed with water. Remember to stir and keep an eye on the heat throughout the entire process. Just keep it relaxed and keep tasting as you go!
