Wouldn't a pocket knife stab out the alarm piezo in that thing in about 2 seconds? It's not in the least subtle about where the speaker is.
Terry Vincent (3 days ago)
THANK YOU. WELL Done. Appreciated.
Noble Dave (4 days ago)
They said 5 mins on the oxford monster chain, and a vid came up of it being broken in 1min 34 secs...
Andrei Ilinca (5 days ago)
I already have a Datatool C4 Red alarm on the bike... and someone just tried to steal my rear wheel.... would that oxford word in that situation ? (would it sense if someone is trying to remove just the wheel?)

So, if one has a sport bike, with no storage option for gear, how is one supposed to protect it in a parking lot?

100 usd per year for spot trace? I'm pretty sure my Australian one is 280 AUD per year... The exchange rate hasn't gotten that bad yet...

Your comment about leaving things outside for 6 minutes in the uk is hilarious and so awfully true 😂 shame it dosent say rating against 12v handheld grinders and Theivs here use these and can usually cut through any lock/chain in 15/20 seconds

Is there anything to cover the ignition key hole. Cause someone tried to steal my bike using a key and broke the key inside ending up costing me $400 to replace the cylinder.
Mike McDermott (1 month ago)
I watch these when I don’t even need the product. This channel is so sick.
just turn your bike into an electric chair 😄
Demonic D (2 months ago)
I love the way he says "and a gps tracker for when it all goes to shit" hahaha although i'm liking the ball bearing idea with the anchor
Shannon Argyle Fisher (2 months ago)
Ironically.. we have the opposite situation.. in South Africa your bike gets picked up and placed onto a truck.. very rarely do bikes get stolen and ridden off into the moonlight.. reason for that is because the guys stealing your bike don't actually want your bike.. they want its parts.. they take it to a chop shop mech that's 5 or 10 min barely away and within 30 min your bike is in pieces and with identifying parts tossed in a Bush.. literally.. they found vehicle graveyards where entire chassis of cars were found nevermind just bikes.. and since there is a lot of delivery bikes driving around on old bikes or Chinese knock offs.. even old bikes get picked up.. whether you got a 1990 vfr 400, 2014 R1, yammi sr250 or in my case 2006 Suzi GN250 cafe/bobber conversion.... sad days...

Never leave the bike out of sight when it's not in the garage bolted down. I'm a mechanic so I luckily get to bring the bike into work so it's always there. As for shopping. Ill walk to the shop as it's just down the road. To bikes go missing to risk leaving it in town anymore
Shiver Metimbers (2 months ago)
Not a realistic option for some of us. I live in the second story of my complex and all we have are carports and mine was over 150 yards away so I wouldn't even hear it even if I did have multiple alarms, and with no security at our complex people wouldn't even bother to investigate what's happening.
Mister GG (2 months ago)
Are you trying to say that I must use C-4 on your bike to steal it?
MotoMarios (2 months ago)
Oxford key mechanism is utter garbage. I have one of their disc locks and it manages to disengage itself by vibration alone even in the locked position. Utter garbage.
KevinMulia (2 months ago)
That lock with alarm, I tried it, It worked perfectly to stop myself on my first time using it. Hey! Don't judge! It's not like I want to steal my own bike, It is because I forgot I put it on last night. Now I am using clutch/brake holder. It is easier since It is the first place you will hold. P.S. After losing my bike Twice in 4 months! Yeah fuck me! I decided to buy a bike with built in keyless feature! Good luck to try taking my bike now!

dantae666 (4 months ago)
DONT RIDE IN LONDON UK. the cover will do nothing they are using cordless angle grinders on the locks discs etc to get them off now as well as mugging you while riding at knife point
ReerBaadia (4 months ago)
I'm afraid to say. You can't prevent bike theft.
Ayman Gomaa (4 months ago)
Ur brilliant bro.
Paul Davison (4 months ago)
Some old timer Harley Riders told me about bike covers 1) Get one without a bike brand name on it. That way they have no idea what is under the cover. 2) Make the cover dirty and unattractive with some black over-sprayed paint and duct tape on it. Thieves will think it a crap bike because you have not invested in a good new cover. 3) Get a cover a bit bigger than you need. Then the rims and tires are covered so then again they have no idea what is under the cover. Plus they cannot figure out what type of bike is under the cover by the profile. As they said, people do not covet what they cannot see.

What if its a quad instead of a motorcycle
DoomFinger511 (4 months ago)
Oxford lock is not so great. The alarm speaker is on the top. If you cover it with your thumb or a piece of gum you can almost completely mute the sound. The lock itself is solid but for $150 you be better buying a strong non-alarm lock for a third of the price.
Sean Mueller (5 months ago)
Hi I like watching your videos to see what is out there in terms of security devices, although I can't seem to find what makes sense to me. Is there a gps tracking device such as the one you reviewed that also has a tilt/shock sensor built in. I've found the tilt/shock sensor kits, but they all just set off the alarm. What if you are away from the motorcycle, wouldn't you want a notification on your phone? Please let me know if you have heard of a kit that sends you notifications from the tilt sensor.
Ricky Stafford (5 months ago)
for when it all goes to shit lmao
PeruvianDementor (5 months ago)
How do you use the cover lock?
Isaac Karjala (5 months ago)
Never use combination locks on anything that kinda matters at all... Watch bosnianbill and lockpicking lawyer on YouTube if you need convincing.
James Batten (5 months ago)
A baby monitor is also a good device as long as it’s in range you can hear people around your bike and you can put one in your garage
James Batten (5 months ago)
A wet towel puts it down to 5 decibels all of these are deterrents that’s all the bike cover alone is probably the best anti theft device or just kick out the wife and park it in the bedroom 😂

Tip No1 ... Live in Japan.. You have more chances to struck by lightning than having your bike stolen... Basically, it's really peaceful here.. So peaceful that there are bikes and bicycles that are laying around in streets corners, never moved, huge layer of dust or plants climbing on them... Nobody would steal them... I love this country!
John Ridley (2 days ago)
There are places like that in the US too. I don't carry a lock for my bicycle, leave it outside major stores. A guy left a bicycle unlocked in front of the student union on campus all summer; when he got back in the fall it was still there.

I have an alarm lock and always park my bike in sight of alot of people.
Chirag Ojha (6 months ago)
That is useful for those who have costly bikes. Not sure how much that adds up to .. but you get a new budget motorcycle for around $1000 here in India. Around the amount you suggested spending on security of bike.. I get it.. it is mainly for high-end bikes.. Nice one. Thanks.
CreepyMonkey HeadGame (6 months ago)
$25 and bits with the size of those bits for the Kryptonite anchor you're lucky to actually even get those bits for under 40 nice touch on Kryptonite send probably spelled Kryptonite wrong but I'm not changing it so shut up LOL XD

I live in the UK so don`t think this is over the top as i see people over my bike contemplating when and how to go about taking it every week. I have a note on it saying max 5 mins to jack the bike for you max 2 mins for me to hear the alarm and aim my high pressure airsoft at your balls. I mean the Police don`t help us here and let them walk away with it all the time i could not give two shits over facing criminal chargers over any type of asault i cause these sub human gypo fucks.
