I honestly think Echo is the way to go, with the warranty which is 3 years commercial and 5 years residential and I have never once had a problem with an Echo ever. Echo is the only way to go!

I would have given Stihl a hard look, but since they are only sold at "servicing dealers", I passed. Ordered a Hitachi from Lowes instead.

The benefit Stihl seeks in selling at servicing dealers is to keep equipment running (and people's lawn care businesses running) I like the fact they sell and service at the same place, because I know if I need parts, I can get them and service. Every time.

Frank Pierce my husqvarna lasted about a year and a half now its lost all compression i admit theyre good while they last but they dont last long

@Dylan Clay So far, so good with the Hitachi. Starts on the second pull and has ample power. No issues.

Frank Pierce youre gonna soon regret it

Stihl are crap anymore. The quality is nowhere near what it used to be and now they charge $35 just to bring in a broken tool for warranty work. Bought a Husqvarna 570 and its WAY nicer than the Stihl crap we'd been running.

I've heard Stihl now has created the BR 700 Magnum I have 2 BR 600 Magnums they're excellent when it comes to many jobs like spring and fall clean ups and blowing off grass clippings. I might purchase a BR 700 since most of my clients driveways are really long.

I HAVE THE BG86CE with the sound muffler and it is awesome. We do plenty of residential and early evening mowing and blowing. Noise restrictions are in effect and it's very quiet around these areas. Plenty of power.

I want the stihl sh86ce leaf blower because my 1995 craftsman blower the cylinder and piston scored on me.

Attach a Stihl blower to an Air Jet Shovel and blow snow from your driveway, sidewalk or deck.  The Air Jet Shovel captures the hurricane force winds from your blower and pulverizes snow and ice.  No need to lift the shovel.  The wind does the work by lifting the snow from the surface.  See videos at www.AirJetShovel.com
