Troy Corser,,you made my day today on that BMW. AWESOME.DEEP RESPECT !
signorpippistrello (1 month ago)
What a bike and what a way to move it! But the picture disturbed me as it looked like Corser was about to pull a Fenati on McGuinness! But that’s fortunately not what the spirit of Goodwood is like!
Manolo Mandevo (1 month ago)
O M G that was amazing, pure racing. wow. crazy Corser on an awesome run with that prehistoric BMW-SAURUS thanks, Troy,.. keep it on

Saw Graeme Crosby do a tap on the bum as he was lapping a rider who was running second to him on the main straight of Mallala race track north of Adelaide South Australia in the mid 80's. When he wasn't on the bike that day he was commentating

Who needs a rear suspension when you have springs under the seat?
stephenmwyatt2 (3 months ago)
turbo matters, but nowadays, they make fuel economy so ridiculous, they are not really feasible, such as in the Kawasaki (kowalski, cause you to walky,) H2. I had a real H1 and an H2, and they were both a hoot when you could run them a littler lean

I think I can say some things ... certain; owners run on THEIR bikes, Troy no, it's from BMW if they fall, the bikes damage and pay the owners Troy DOES NOT pay! of course he runs!

Maybe I missed the explanation by the commentators, but can someone explain the sportsmanship here? And the touch? I haven't seen this form of motorcycle racing before but these are some awesome bikes.
Goodwood Road & Racing (4 months ago)
Hi Derek, most of these riders ride these bikes together all the time, they regularly give each other a pat on the back as they pass, nothing mean spirited, all in a sense of fun.
Tsukikage (4 months ago)
I don't even watch MotoGP racing but this made my day. Walmsley's reaction was gold too, he was like "this lil' shit".

BMW still have them on their bikes today. One of the biggest advantages of it is you can have a super low center of gravity.

How can you not enjoy this.....
caribman10 (5 months ago)
I saw this race at Goodwood and all I can say is that Corser must have a hell of a time getting balls that size into racing leathers. The BMW, which has NO shock absorbers in front (just springs), is a rigid rear and wobbles all the way around the track is the definition of "Handful" if not two hands full. But to really enjoy this, you need external speakers turned up all the way...
Scott McLennan (5 months ago)
Bloody wonderful.

Corser is probably the most underrated WSBK champ. It was hard to fathom just how good he was.
bjwal6 (5 months ago)
truly incredible riding
JestersCapxXx (5 months ago)
I am not sure what is more impressive. How well that 90y old BMW runs on a race track or the amount of pure natural talent displayed by Corser manhandling that old lady around the track at 125 mph, scraping hardware in corners. Every new rider should watch this. Just fantastic to watch.
